HEATHER PHOTOGRAPHY
Heather fever! A lot of people look forward to it every year: the weeks in summer when the heather turns purple. Everywhere in the Netherlands you see natural areas transformed into a beautiful purple paradise. So does the unique rolling landscape of the Posbank. This location is perhaps the most photographed place to beautifully capture heather. But how do you take such a picture? What settings do you need with the constantly changing light in the morning and how do you find a good composition?
During this workshop really everything will be covered. We will talk about preparations, weather, compositions, different lenses, filters and especially how the heather can add something to all this. Because we prefer to do this workshop in the morning because then the light is at its best and with a little luck we can encounter haze, we start very early. The sun rises at just past 6:00 am. Be enchanted early in the morning by the buzzing bees, grazing horses and the golden hour shining over the moors. Don't be alarmed if the sun is not visible, the heather is photogenic in all weather conditions!

Besides talking about landscape photography of course, Ester will also take you into her macro photography world. Don't have a macro lens? Not to worry, a telephoto lens will get you a long way too.
