On this page you will find all the important information such as all the accommodations where we are staying, the planning, telephone numbers and useful tips for all necessities. If something is missing or it is not entirely clear, please let us know so that we can help you further. The face behind This Way and a guide for the journey. She fell in love with Tuscany a few years ago and since then she has been counting down the days until she can show you all this beauty!

LAURA

Laura is new to the team of This Way but already very experienced in the field of photo tours. This cheerful German photographer has a good eye for detail!

TRANSPORT

COLLECT
We will pick you up at the airport in Pisa on the 4th of May, unless otherwise agreed with you. So make sure you are ready with all your luggage in the arrivals hall or visit us. You can recognize us by the This Way logo and otherwise we will recognize you! We would like to hear your flight number in advance so that we can keep an eye on whether there is a delay. Make sure you arrive no later than 14.00, we still have a few hours to drive in the car.

TRANSPORT
As indicated, all transportation in Toscan is included in the trip. During the photo tour, depending on the size of the group, we will drive a car large enough for all participants. We ask you not to bring more than 1 suitcase/bag in addition to your photo bag.

RETURN JOURNEY
The last night we stay in the vicinity of Pisa. This way we have more time and we don't have to leave Tuscany in the middle of the night. We will bring you back to the airport no later than 12.00, unless otherwise agreed with you.

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

The location where we stay during the trip in Tuscany is located near the popular Val d'Orcia, the place where many photo locations can be found. From there we can easily reach all the beautiful photo locations in Tuscany. The last night we stay in Pisa so it's only a short drive to the airport from there and we make optimal use of the photography opportunities.

There is a swimming pool on site. If the weather is good, you might want to take a refreshing dip in between!

MEALS

Breakfast is not included in the accommodation in Tuscany. This means that we set a table together and eat together.


LUNCH
It is not always easy to find a restaurant in Italy in the afternoon because of the siesta that is often held in the afternoon. Nevertheless, we strive to have dinner (i.e. the hot meal) somewhere in the afternoon so that we don't have to miss the most beautiful light in the evening.


DINNER
Both lunch and breakfast are included in the trip. Only the dinner is at your own expense. As mentioned, it is therefore possible that we already consume this in the afternoon. In the evening we provide a light but tasty meal that we eat at the accommodation in company. We ask for some flexibility in terms of meal times because we strive to photograph the most beautiful moments of the day.

PLANNING

For the days in Tuscany we have made an overview of the locations. Of course, this is not 100% fixed because the weather can also influence this. If the weather is good, we will try to stick to the following as much as possible. If the weather is good, we will also try to photograph the Milky Way for an evening.

Upon arrival, we will give a short presentation in which we briefly share a number of tips and tricks. In between, there is an opportunity where we can look at some editing tips together. If you've never photographed stars before, don't worry! We're going to help you there too!
