Laura Oppelt had her first experiences with photography at the age of 14, which later became her greatest passion. She is particularly drawn to wild and rugged destinations such as Norway, the Faroe Islands and the Alps. Wherever she is, it is the changing light and purity of the outdoors that fascinates her. As she started photographing, she has also come to appreciate nature and the landscape much more.

Both the actual shooting and post-processing of the photos are an important part of her workflow. After all, it is precisely by editing that she can show the viewer how she experienced the moment. Yet post-processing is not the most important thing for her. Exploring nature and traveling is what appeals to her the most. In addition to photography, she studies geography at the University of Bonn, Germany.

Photography is a daily challenge and a never-ending process of development and improvement, and Laura looks forward to sharing this journey with like-minded fellow travelers.
