ROUTE 2

Created after the last ice age and still unique and beautiful to this day, the Oisterwijkse Vennen. Do you know the area? Have you ever noticed that the fens are elongated in a southwest-northeast direction. So this is how it was created by the wind direction during the aforementioned ice age. All facts and figures, but what are we going to do during this photo walk? Because it is a fairly large nature reserve, we can't fit all known fens into just 2.5 hours of photo walk. Therefore we have two routes.

This route is somewhat less frequented by photographers but also certainly not unknown. We start on the other side of the Fens and first pass the Brandven and Diaconieven. Here you have the opportunity to walk all the way around the ponds. Pay attention because the light here changes very quickly. Don't focus on just the trees on the islands. We decide whether we have time to walk to the Kolkven or to enjoy the woods around the aforementioned fens.
